I never really was good at this whole weblogging scene. This is my second attempt after a long time of silence, to try and write down my ideas and experiences in written format to be available online to everyone.
My hope is to be able to give you periodical updates of what is happening in the tech scene from my point of view and also write up from different experiences that I encounter on my daily work life.
Few things about me:
Jerry is a long-time systems engineer who has worked with a variety of technologies, both as an employee and an entrepreneur in many business areas. His passions include (but are not limited to) security, cloud computing, containers, micro-services, (mobile) backends, and big data analytics. He is currently working with multiple programming languages and frameworks, and is always on the lookout for the "next big thing".
Jerry is an active member in the local tech scene, and he is passionate in sharing his knowledge with individuals and companies, through both public talks and mentoring. Currently working as a Senior System Architect at Qvik (Helsinki, Finland), his main responsibilities include designing and developing backend infrastructures, build tools for other developers, as well as building native mobile experiences. He is also a Google Developer Expert for Google Cloud Platform. Most recently, he has begun to train people in the Nordics for Google Cloud Platform as (currently) the only Google Cloud Platform Authorised Trainer in the Nordic region.
What I'm hoping to cover in this blog
Mainly things related to Backend- and Mobile-development, Microservice Architectures, Containers, Cloud Computing, Big Data and Machine Learning.
I'll also link the presentations and other materials that I've given in meetups, etc.
Thats it for now, I'll try to come up with a proper article soonish when I'm available again.
Thanks for reading and Keep-on-Coding,
